Autumn 1 - Week 8 

Wow what a busy week we have had in Year 1! 

In Maths we have been looking at our numberbonds to 10.

In English we have done our very first independent write. We planned it and then wrote it up neatly! The children worked their socks off and blew me away with their imagination of where Ms Talbots scarf had flown to! 

In Geography we labelled a map of the United Kingdom and where the capital cities are and the seas that surrounds the United Kingdom. 

In PSHE we looked at road safety, crossing the road and what we do if we lose a ball/object in the road. 

In provision we have had lots of halloween themed activities out. 

A big thankyou to all the parents that attended our welcome assembly. I have put a copy of the slides on here!
